Indira Rasoi Yojna: Nourishing the Needy in Ajmer

In an effort to address the nutritional needs of the underprivileged and ensure that no one sleeps hungry, the Rajasthan government has launched the Indira Rasoi Yojna. This flagship scheme, sponsored by Nagar Nigam Ajmer and operated by Apna Theatre Sansthan, is making significant strides in combating hunger and malnutrition in the city of Ajmer.

The primary goal of the Indira Rasoi Yojna is to provide nutritious and affordable meals to the economically disadvantaged sections of society. The scheme is named after the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, with a vision to carry forward her legacy of social welfare and inclusive development.

Nagar Nigam Ajmer plays a crucial role in sponsoring and overseeing the implementation of the Indira Rasoi Yojna. The municipal corporation collaborates with us and we committed to community development, to efficiently operate the scheme.

Under the Indira Rasoi Yojna, various food outlets, referred to as “Rasois” or kitchens, are established across Ajmer. These kitchens are equipped to prepare hygienic and nutritious meals, and they operate with the aim of serving wholesome food to those in need.

The Indira Rasoi Yojna has made a significant impact in addressing food insecurity in Ajmer. It has not only provided much-needed nutrition to the vulnerable sections of society but has also become a symbol of community solidarity and shared responsibility.

The Indira Rasoi Yojna in Ajmer stands as a commendable example of a government-sponsored initiative with active collaboration from non-profit organizations. By addressing the immediate needs of the underprivileged, the scheme contributes to the overall well-being and development of the community. It reflects the commitment of the Rajasthan government, Nagar Nigam Ajmer, and Apna Theatre Sansthan to create a more inclusive and nourished society.
